New to paper
Long interested in bush planes/float planes and wildfire fighting aircraft..and British Columbia aircraft museum listed pair of ancient wilhelmshaven ships (working ships are cool as well) on their eBay site..so for $10 what the heck…absent German, and with help of google translate..experimentation..have found a modelling genre that really resonates..when a paper Martin Mars kits is $6 and a resin one $350 if lucky…umm pretty easy decision..plus messing up a part in paper means downloading the page again …and there isn’t the resin dust, fumes etc ..onwards into the fog

Keep us posted, warning, this hobby is as addictive. Once you start collecting kits you just can't stop.

Hello John. I was new to paper once; long time ago though.

Welcome to the site John
Hope you enjoy working with paper. Lots of learning and different types of paper and glue to work with. There are some tools that help. Learning curve is different than just fitting parts and gluing. Parts need formed first and then gluing after part fit test. Mike |
