Intro

Hi there, just a quick introduction from me.

I am Karl from UK but live and work in Langkawi, Malaysia.
I am an aircraft Engineer and Manager by trade but have been involved in modelling of various types since a small boy.

I have tried most things but at the moment I do not have any workshop so wanted to try paper modelling as I'm thinking I can do that at the dining table.

Great site with lots of great info.

Karl.

Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay. Take your shoes off and sit a spell. Pick a category that piques your interest and when you feel comfortable, post some pictures of you work. See you around the forums.

Everything I currently use for card modeling fits on a 18" by 36" desk, including the cutting board and parts I am working on. It's a very good hobby if you have limited space and limited tools, and you can still get great results.

Thank you Gentlemen, for your kind welcome.

I am busy reading all the tutorial posts but I am sure I will have lots of questions to ask too.

Welcome aboard, Karl. If you can find card stock (or just about any weight of stiff paper) and a printer you're in business. Also take a look at Welcome to cardfaq.org for basic to advanced info.
