Next I assembled the wings to the fuselage, and the forward engine cowl and tailplane. Looking like a Corsair now!

Very nice looking wing. These little models might not satisfy the rivet counters, but they really do capture the essence of the subject models.

Agreed. Definitely a fun little model. And here she is, completed and ready for judgment.






That was a fun reintroduction into the hobby. Now maybe onto something a little more detailed to work towards getting back to the B17...

Beautiful! The canopy is nicely rounded. On many models it is too angular, but you and Zio have pulled it off!

My only observation, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the arresting hook upside down?
