Happy Father's Day
Hi Guys,
Look what my Son Brumby bought me for Father's Day. He and his sister Callie want to have a Kitty Party with me. Of course I am the only one that gets the Brandy. But then,,, the kids get their Catnip. They are like Hippies that way. Happy father's Day to all you folks. |

And a Happy Father's Day to your Dad too. Thanks for sharing the picture of your outdoor Kitties. PLEASE take more for us to see when you can. ( The orange Tabby looks like my son Brumby. ) Is that opening behind them where they stay out of the weather and go to sleep? Hope they are getting enough to eat and water to drink. I have an idea for you too. It looks like they have some kind of a yard there. How about planting some catnip for them to enjoy. I have catnip growing all over our yard for our kitties to enjoy. And any other roaming kitties too. I think it's great what you try to do for them. You have a big heart and a good soul. |

Thanks for the great ideas. The opening behind there is their shelter. We're going to have a lot of rain soon, hope they won't be affected by that. If I find a good gardening shop, I'll see if there's any catnip.

Dear Gary and Cat Friends:
Wonder if there are restrictions on sending gardening seeds to South Korea? a pack of catnip seeds in the US is under $2.00 then the shipping. Just a thought, Miles |

Just searched catnip on the internet, there are quite a lot of places that sell catnip. Most of them are 2 dollars.

All catnip is not the same. We grow two kinds here. One is what we call mint,,, and the other we call stinky foot. You can tell which one you have by tearing a leaf in half and giving it a good sniff. It depends on the kitty's mood as to which one they like from day to day. Guess it's like humans deciding weather to have a mixed drink,,, or a beer. And you can harvest it for use in winter by hanging it upside down until it is good and dried out. Then crush up the leaves and buds into bags. No stems or seeds needed. ( kinda like that catnip for humans LOL ) Hope this helps you a bit. Gary |
