Lovely Kurt - and good to see a 40 year old design still being enjoyed by new generations. Now get Johan Scherft's (forum name: Firecrest) flying Goldcrest to see how the art has progressed! Photo is of my build of his design. Cheers!

Very nicely made models, gentlemen. Johan Scherft really makes beautiful bird models, which are great fun to make.

Also Birdmobile/Malcolm Topp has issued almost perfect models. I made the merlin myself about 10 years ago and sacrificed many hours of sleep because I couldn't stop building.... You should try the biggest one of them all, the eagle with the trout. That's a real challenge, with a wing span of about 1.5 meters (5ft).

All the best,
Erik

Hi Erik. Malcolm Topp's models are great fun. I first built his Osprey (the big one) over 35 years ago! I lost it in various house moves over the years but have bought it again and will make it soon - it is a lot of cutting!
