No, I just made it up as a pointed cone, but once set I injected some wet glue into the point and burnished it to round out the point a bit. There is a 'designed in' step as well though. Just above the mouth.

Separating all the body parts and shaving one side of each seam a few mm to curve the body was the most dramatic mod. It adds a real animation effect, I think.

I too have saved the other fish VK, but due to the amount of pixel editing required on the .jpg pictures, I don't think I'll be doing them anytime soon.

Anyone got enough understanding of Japanese to ask if the .pdo files are available any where? Looking at the finished model pictures in the index, the artist obviously used unlined prints to make them.

Elliott ... the tiger is not forgotten. I do pick it up now and then, but it's gonna be a delicate job, which I'm still afraid my shakes might tear off a tab or two whilst holding it together to set. Seriously considering fixing all four paws to a solid base before attempting the waist join up, but it seems a bit drastic. Better to wait for a shake free day I think.

A friend of mine that works here in my building has lusted after the shark!! So for two 6pks of a good beer of his choosing it's his. Plus I free up shelve space, which is always a win..

I probably did, as I actually would have just given it do him. Was just joking around when I said I wanted the beer. Once I'm done with them, with the exception of a few, I've lost interest in hanging onto them.. Plus it's cool when you forgotten about a model, and to see it again on someone else's shelve when you visit..

I agree. Once a model is done I lose interest in it. That's why I give mine away at the children;s cancer ward. The looks on the kids faces is all the reward I'll ever need.
