Glad you liked the picture. Living in SE Minnesota the rivalry is very intense here. Other than that I enjoy the game no matter what. Gary |

I kind of agree with your idea about the mice being good catnip holders. But these paper ones don't have an enclosed belly. As you can see by the upturned Broncos one in the picture that Callie has knocked off the towel. And I think they would not last long either. ( HA HA ) I will have to try it any way. Gary |

Here is my Bengals Mouse. And as you suggested before about them holding catnip. I did an experiment. I let Callie play with the mouse as it is without the addition of catnip to it. As you can see she really enjoys playing with the mouse,,, and if it was not for me intervening several times,,, she would have totally destroyed the thing. She sure had a good time. The addition of nip will be next. I just have to figure out a way to put it into the mouse so it's Kitty safe as a toy. Hope you enjoy the pictures. And the Superbowl today too. Gary |

I watched the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel today. The Puppy bowl was over on the Animal Planet channel at the same time. Both shows are adorable. I had thought the same thing about the mice for the Kitten Bowl. Even putting one on the remote control mouse they have the Kittens playing with too. Best Regards, Gary |

Looking forward to seeing your mouse build. I'm glad you like it too. It was a pleasure to do it for you my friend. Watched the Superbowl too. It was a great game. No matter who wins or looses. If it's a close game,,, that makes it more fun to watch. Best Regards, Gary |

Mouse TOY
Hi,,,
Ashevilleangler had mentioned that these mice would make good Catnip holders. Well, I thought I would just let my boy Brumby play with one as is without the addition of catnip. Here is the resulting action, and aftermath pictures. He had a good time playing with,,, chewing on,,, and biting,,, the Seahawks mouse. ( no reflection on the Superbowl intended. ) HE HE And,,, He wound up removing one paw,,, and the other arm entirely before deciding to take a break. ( This is why my models are built to be Kitty friendly. ) Enjoy the pictures, Gary |

Dear Gary and Friends of cats:
I got to thinking, Scary I should know, About Catnip. Before Gluing the Belly band closed use an old brush and and put a layer of glue on the inside of the mouse then sprinkle on the cat nip. Let dry and I bet the mouse will be history in short order. I have pictures but running into SSL errors on Gmail on my computer Enjoy, Miles |

I have to say I'm kinda Leary about gluing catnip onto a model. If the Kitty gets to chewing on it without you there,,, they might ingest some of the glue and paper. A Better idea I think is to just rub the mouse or model with catnip. The oils in the catnip will be spread onto the model and you can enjoy the ensuing fun of watching them play with it. What do you think? Best Regards, Gary PS, Miles,,, I hope you get your photos figured out. Can't wait to see your build. |
