Thanks for the nice comments!
The problem with stability is, I made a stand out of bamboo sticks and put wire inside it for support of the model. The model is top heavy and sometimes flipping over on it's side. Since the wire is round in a round hole in the bamboo it can easily do so. To counteract that effect I have added some screws inside the arms for weight, pulling it down on both sides, preventing the flipping motion. I hope it wil stay this way. This is the largest model I have ever build. Since my other models are 1:1200 scale models of the Olympic class vessels and a 1:200 scale Titanic. It is standing in a corner in the living room on it's own stand between some artificial plants and ferns for "atmosphere". It is indeed a nice model if I may say so myself. It is only a pity that the first images, hosted on my FB account started disappearing after a while. With regards, Jerry

Good morning Rick,
Thanks for that suggestion. I hadn't thought of that myself. ![]()

Good evening people.
After a long period of absence I am planning on picking up this hobby again. Some health issues and other things kept me busy. Like other hobbies I picked up like horseriding. Today I bought a papermodel of a horse skeleton which I am going to try to tackle. Also I searched my files for the PDF and PDO files of this Velociraptor model that I build. But I seem to have lost them. Also it's no longer available via the original source. So I am hoping one of you fine people have stored the files on the computer? Hoping to hear from you, With regards, Jerry

What a blast from the past. I got an email because I was subscribed to the thread. It's lovely to hear that you're coming back to this project after so much time.
I don't host the files myself anymore but they're still up on pepakura gallery: Pepakura Gallery – Pepakura Designer |

Good morning Gedelgo,
Good to hear from you and great to hear the files are still hosted somewhere. I spend the day yesterday looking for them. Looking trough my old laptop and storage devices. Sadly I could not find them. But luckily you were subscribed to this topic. Great, thanks again! Jerry
