I'm very happy you enjoy these. Johan has designed these shapes nicely, so from a bit away they look pretty real, like a really good woodcarving..

Hi Glen, beautiful work indeed, nice little diorama with the bird in its natural habitat. I recognize the shape of the robin's head .

Thanks Erik these little models are fun. I made the yellow boxfish clever few parts. Now working on an American Goldfinch, but it is proving a challenge to get really nice, hard to hide seams on a smoothly yellow bird...

When I lived in Kenai, used to have a Cardinal that used to hang out in the birch tree in full view from front living room Every year it would show up. Recently asked my friend who bought my old home about it, he says he sees one or two every year. Local High School uses them as the team name, Kenai Cardinals. I'm really impressed with the Arctic Terns. Worked at the port of Anchorage for awhile. Lots of gravel in the work yard. Had to be careful, they get real aggressive when protecting their nests. Kittiwakes, different types of seagulls, tremendous amount of water fowl-except when they decide to land at the same time I'm planning to on the same runway. Bunch of whooping cranes almost got me. We even have humming birds up here in the summer. Awesome to look up sometimes to see what is around. Most acrobatic ones are the Snipe. Mike

Very nice wildlife! I’ve seen some puffins and auklets off WASHINGTON coast
But only a couple of them...I wasn’t aware that Cardinals occurred there they don’t tend to wander to our region so must migrate down East of the Rockies..

Nice chickadee
Your chickadee turned out really nice Glen. I could almost get interested. I still have most of that collection I bought on e-bay. Theres a zero,in there plus a 1/33 B-25, and 3-4 battleships. one is the italian Garibaldi with some laser cut parts.
