Goldfish – Yamaha Summer Scene of Japan

Just finished this build as summer is coming, and would like to get opinions – should I stick on the front of the wooden basin, or does it look better if I leave it off as a cutaway? The instructions give both options, and at the moment I'm leaning towards sticking it on.

Looks good. I like those Yamaha models.
I lean toward putting the front of the wooden basin on.

A little advice, try coloring the cut edges of the paper to hide the white that shows. I also sometimes color a little ways on the glue flaps in case there is a slight gap between parts. It makes the finished model look much better.

Stick it on. Plus the cling film as Mike suggests!

It's a hard choice, but I would go for the cutaway.

Brilliant idea with the clingfilm Mike. It's far better than filling the bowl with a clear resin, but in this case, the dorsal fin is too tall to fit under it.
