Here’s a little Brook Trout I am thinking about including, it is from the artwork at “Trout and seasons of the mountain village “

Glen - nope, been unable to find any time. I work for myself and have had work, so have had to concentrate on this. So that's good news (money) and bad news (no birding). But the good outweighs the bad!

I tried some pics the other day, but they come out terribly. Don't know what went wrong.

But I did take an interesting set of pics my last trip - I will post these as soon as I can sort them out!

Kevin I will look forward to some more pics

Thank you Johan, very kind of you to stop in Unfortunately I have not worked on this for a bit hopefully shortly will though. I started on this a year ago ha, but set aside for quite a while until I had a better idea for the crest...the body is modified from a Hawfinch model of yours there was a blurry picture of...super fun.
I saw a beautiful little brook trout in a stream a couple weeks back I had always wondered what fish lived in that stream since I was a youngster.

The tail added, then worked on feet, kingfishers have small legs and 2 toes are fused, so attempt to show. The fish was next, and I hand painted on it for awhile to look more like the little trout here in the stream.
I made a branch of rolled card and glue and paint, and found a picture of a riverbed for the base online. It all worked out pretty fine, so was able to put it together yesterday.

Thank you David and Mike
I enjoyed this one quite a bit, and it was nice to reacquaint with the trout website, the fish can be made less stiff with just 1-2 mm of change on the sides, remove a bit inside on the cylinder before and after the dorsal fin part.
