Firecrest by Johan Scherft
I love these little birds by the dutch artist. Firecrest (regulus ignicapilla) is not a native species in Finland, too cold for them. Though 25 times the bird has been spotted on our land, first time 1969. 2017 even a nesting male was found but know knowledge was it mating with one of his own or with a native goldcrest (regulus regulus).
Very enjoyable afternoon build. Now it's sitting on a paintbrush handle in my room watching my late father's fly fishing lures he made long time ago. Cheers, Tappi |

Nicely built, Tapcho. Johan's bird models are very addictive, I hope you will enjoy some of the other ones if you decide to try them.
