Blackburbian Warbler new model

This model is changed mildly in parts but is a hand painted recolor similar to the Yellow rumped model. There are quite a few birders that consider this to be the most beautiful American wood warbler. I agree with that but... I have yet to see one as they live in the Northeast, Midwest bird (East of the Rockies) and north into Canada. I hope they don't lose the majority of nesting habitat there, as this bird though rarely seen as it likes the treetops has not really been a population risk as far as I know.

The body of the bird goes together similar to the Yellow rump.

Hi Glen,
We can see in the fourth photo of the first group, showing the bird's head, it will be a sharp looking warbler. Very good artwork.

I’ve admired this bird’s colors for many years so I can imagine I have now that I’ve studied it.

I misread the title and assumed this was a 'Blackburn Warbler', an obscure British biplane from the 1920s. In fact it's a rather attractive bird. As with the rest of your aviary, I guess this is life size?

Well I'm going to have to look that one up! I guess the bird was named after a man named Blackburn...

Yes it is a small bird at life size though.
