Canon Marine Iguana

While I'm non longer foolish enough to attempt to build planes, tanks and submarines by the light of the TV, I couldn't stop myself last night with the Canon marine iguana. I really like the look of this one a lot. The only thing I found to be a little awkward was the feet, which are designed as a single piece and I think they might have been better done in pieces. Still, it came out well for a quick and rather careless build and it looks great sitting out by the pool!

I'm thinking the coelacanth is next on the list!

He's only about 20" long, which is fine as I really don't have anywhere to put him. I'm impressed with the designer's capacity to convert relatively complex compound curve forms into relatively simple shapes and pieces. It goes together well, but like the other Canon animal models, you may want to trim down some of the tabs as they are a little big.

He, that looks good,
You can always glue some wings or a gun-turret to it if you feel uncomfortable:D

Great work! Looks real! Just a side note about the Florida Keys iguanas (not marine nor native). Last winter it "rained" iguanas.... When a could snap hit the keys, the iguanas metabolism slowed down so much that they fell from the trees they lived in... Hence it "rained" iguanas.... Not to worry, the pests were unharmed!

Anyway, great work!
