Thanks. I went with the wingspan when I resized the 3-views to make/resize them so the Shahak is indeed 7 cm while the Phantom is closer to 9 cm (9.1 or 9.2, same for Ojimak's RF-4E). The Nesher is 7.2 or 7.3 cm (boom excluded).
At 7.2/7.3 cm (boom excluded) Ojimak's Fishbed (printed at 30%) generally fits the MiG-21PFM & Bis 3-views I resized to 1:200. edit: I'm also surprised the Su-7 and Su-17 are that big compared to the MiG-21.

mig -21 in Vietnam
The mig 21 entered the war theater in 1966 as russian production new mig 21F.
The mig 21 was much faster than the sub sonic mig 17 which numerically was the most utilised by the NV. So the NV developed doctrins of fighting for the mig 21. The mig 21 was fast but lacked the tight turn ability of the mig 17 , therefore the best way to engage the american planes was to make a pass at high speed and release the A2 attol missile from six o'clock of the american fighters which usually were thuds F-105 that were in a bombing stages above NV. In this way the mig 21's were able to down few thuds but the Thud never downed mig 21 and had 27.5 mig 17 kills most of them with the Vulcan 20 mm gun. The Phantom and the F-8 Crusader were the main adversaries of the 21 though. The Phantom with the powerfull radar had the Aim 7 sparrow as a long range missile and the sidewinder IR missile as the short range missile. At this time the Phantom didn't carry internal 20 mm gun and could only carry a gun pode under the belly point. The Crusader could cary 2-4 sidewinders and had 4 20mm guns. The Crusader had the best kill ratio against the migs 1:6 while the F-4 Phantoms had only 1:2 kill ratio. Therefor the F-8 Crusader was nicknamed the "mig master " . Will continue. Yair

The mig-21 vs F-105 Thud Photos
The mig-21 is known to have a few F-105 kills.All in all the Thud kill ratio against the migs
Is 27.5 mig 17 vs 23 Thuds- 1.2 : 1. The Thud never had a mig 21 kill in vietnam though. Only the F-4 Phantom and the Crusader were victorieus against the mig 21. Here are photos of the two in 1:48. scale. Yair

The mongol was produced in big numbers and was cwidely used by operators of the mig 21. Some have reached private owners in the US. The model here represent Hungarian air force paint scheme and is 1:48 scale . Yair

Mig 21Fishbed vs F-5 e Tiger
The mig 21and the f-5e are considered very simillar but in the real world they are not .
The F-5 series was developed from the start with air to ground capability and air to air. The mig 21 was designed as a local interceptor from the outset and the air to ground capability came as after taught. If we compare the two head to head we get the following: The F-5e has a better operational range and can carry 3000kg payload which is 1000kg more then the mig 21 bis. In the local interception role the mig 21 has more powerfull engine and better accellration and also radar guided missiles for longer range. In a close turn dogfight the F-5e has better manuevarability but not by a big margin and the pilot level can be the main factor here. Both types fought in the Iraq Iran 80's conflict with mixed results. Also the F-5A fought in the ogaden battle between Ethiopian to Sudanian pilots with 8 mig 21PF that were shut down. The F-5e was used to simulate the Mig 21 in the US as aggressor squadrons and this will be described in the next chapters. Here are the two side by side in 1:48 scale. Yair
