I do want to say that this is one of my more complex builds, along the same order as Durandal. There's a lot of layered laminated parts for depth, and I'm trying to figure out how to to release the kit, with those things as optional, or mandatory parts.

The reason I wonder though, is that if the parts are optional, it might not be obvious where they go.

So, I finally got tired of my old Runabout design, and decided to make a new one
As you can see, this one is modular I will admit that I took a little artistic liberty with the modules, but only to a reasonable extent, I think. As before, the cockpit section can be used as an escape vehicle. I even included impulse engines and thrusters on the back. Slap four of these in the middle: And a back module that I don't think was supposed to be removable on the original, but seemed to make sense to me: This one finally has a rollbar too: And here you can see just how inferior the old design was: And here are a few of my other 1:150 designs in comparison. The Danube class Runabout is quite a bit bigger than shuttles. Technically, it's considered a starship. It makes me assume the scout ship is too. |
