Here is a link that will help explain who they are and who here at PM.com can help you locate them. Just browse through the threads, hopefully that will answer your questions about them better than I can.

Your models really look good, they would hold their own against plastic for sure.

Thank you for the kind compliments, and the link. I will check it out.

Excellent pics, excellent addition to an already good model. There's not limit to what you can do with you chosen medium, the only limits to anyones abilities are those of talent and perserverance, creativity of course... Can't wait to see this done.

Cockpit canopy

Thank you for the compliment.

The clear plastic finished off the canopy quite nicely. Not only that, but if you laminate the whole part to the sheet of plastic, it does add rigidity to the canopy as well.

Yeah, that thin plastic can do wonders to add life to a model, as well as depth and as you say, rigidity.

The plastic that I used for the canopy is about 0.32mm thick. The card stock that I use is about 0.22mm thick.
When I made the canopy I "sandwiched" the plastic between two layers of card and then attached the pieces inside the "shell" of the canopy. So the canopy is very rigid and sturdy.

Sorry I read my micrometer wrong. The plastic is 0.032mm and the card stock is 0.022mm.
