I was hoping I could get guidance on some other wings that I could use to kitbash one with his P-63.

I don't know if Bruno does.

BUT that is an interesting critter.
Bell must have been testing data from WWII German airplanes.
You got anymore info about this, Owlguy?

From a cursory look (Wikipedia) L-39-1 is a P-63 with swept wings that was given, after a few test flights, a fuselage extension and later a larger vertical tail. And L-39-2 was given the extra length and tail surface area from the getgo. They were used to test the flight characteristics of swept wings. They seem also to have started with a short area of straight wings, that went iont a sweep, and 2 was later given fully swept wings. They were scrapped in 1955. I might do more research on this. I was curious because I like one off prototypes.

Hey, you haven't heard from Bruno Vanhecke.

I hope nothing serious has happened to him.

Anybody done a B-17G recolor the represents 42-32076 "Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby"? I eventually want to have model representation of all the aircraft in the Dayton Air Force Museum, including ones not currently on display. That museum was a huge part of my childhood, and the aircraft I saw as a child would be great to have models of. Currently the B-17 I am asking about is in storage but there are still phots online of when it was on display.

I have talked to Bruno a few weeks back and he was OK. Just busy with his work and family. For some reason it seems that work has intensified last year for many of us and decreased the time we have available for our hobby.
Best regards.

It's good that Bruno's okay. We are all busy with our lives and more important responsibilities ...and from time to time a creative crisis comes to all of us :-). But this is such an addictive hobby that we'll be back as soon as we can.

That is Exactly the one I am looking for, Is it on Ecardmodels? In its current state it is Green with a blue underside, but there is evidence that this particular livery is accurate to it's final mission.

Yes, this model is on Ecardmodels as part of the early B-17G package. You can find it here:
