Here is two-for-one special. It's a bit of a test for me since I wanted to see if I can make models that small and fit them on one page. Turns out yes,I can
Those are unmolested Bruno original Lockheed Vega as flown by Amelia Earhart and Polish Albatros Dva as flown by Merian C. Cooper of Kosciuszko squadron during Polish/soviet war.
As usual I made some errors in Albatros but Vega really impressed me. Perfect fit and wing is designed so great it doesn't need any spar at all. My only mod was cutting oval hole in fuselage skin where wing sits. I added Canadian Loonie coin for scale. Those are very tiny models, some of the smallest planes I ever made.
Enjoy the pictures
Side request: when reading up on Merian Cooper I found out he and some other surviving American members of Kosciuszko Squadron wrote memoirs that were published in 1930s. Sadly I couldn't find and hard or digitized copy of any of those memoirs. Do and digitized copies exist somewhere to be purchased/downloaded?
