Great builds Spaceagent9 and Pablito.
Here is my next model: Nr 722: the Supermarins Spitfire MkV on floats. This plane had an adapted tail plane extended both on top and below the fuselage, four propeller blades and an extra long air intake under the chin. Oh yes, and two "hardly noticeable" floats.
although never really used in combat, the three MkV comversions were interesting variants of the standard Spit.

Dear Bruno and All:
I do not know how I pass this model, one of the most obscure planes of one of the most famed aircraft company, the Douglas DC-5.
I discovered buried in you newly released list of 1/300 planes and the post number.
Please find attached two simple recolors. One of a captured DC-5 by the Japanese, and the other an R3D-2 transport and parachute trainer for the US Marines.
By the way nice floatplanes Bruno!
Happy modeling to you all.
Pablo

I admit I've been away from this thread for a bit, but I don't see any of the new designs being posted like they used to...did I miss something?

Cheers!
Jim

Hi everyone,
it is always a pleasure to see that while I'm struggling with the next model design, you keep posting and communicating in this thread. Thank you all.

Here is the reason of my lack of response: Nr 723 Arado Ar196 A-3. The test build pictures are attached. this model was used on the Bismark. The float struts were not easy to design and build. they do require a bit more skill than I showed in these pictures.

726 Ar.196 Japanese Navy

Now I need to get started with a new model. What will it be, I wonder
