Firstly, I would like to wish everyone a happy Easter. On Saturday afternoon I continued work on the rear portion of the C-130 and prepared it for the construction of the landing gear "cheeks", already installing the tabs. Following Bruno's photos and Karol's tip, I think I did a reasonable job.
To glue some segments, I used hair ties made from Flanders iron, which are very adaptable as they are quite malleable. Tomorrow I plan to glue the "cheeks" and start work on the wing. |

Summing up the work on the Breguet XIV, today I finished installing all of the plane's landing and flight cables, as well as making the external aileron actuators made from cardboard. The material is the same as always: individually chosen brush and broom bristles with the appropriate diameter, measured and glued with CA glue. Each segment is glued individually with the help of tweezers and of course with abundant documentation to verify the positioning.
With all the cables installed, we glued the exhaust and propeller and applied a coat of semi-gloss spray varnish and the model was finished. |

Well friends, the Breguet XIV from the Military Brigade is model number #1227 in the catalogue. Bruno made this version at my request at the time.
An epilogue about the adventure of the Breguet 14 in the colors of the Rio Grande do Sul Police. Nowadays the Military Brigade is an ostensible police force, which has several specializations within the force, including the fire brigade, lifeguards, bomb disposal battalion , riot police, snipers, PM2 (similar to US SWAT), which is common to all state military police in Brazil, since 1964 these police lost their "national guard" status, dealing with common crime and with these aforementioned functions. The Aviation of the Military Brigade as a specialized service was only transformed back into a unit in 1989, when the aviation battalion was created with both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. As in other parts of the world, the Military Brigade's helicopters are used for reconnaissance, pursuit, medevac and rescue. The force has two Aeromot AMT-100 Ximango motorgliders, manufactured here in Porto Alegre, equipped with sensors, they are widely used in the pursuit of criminals who rob banks in small towns and tend to hide in forests and rural roads. As you can see, many subjects for potential repaints of Scissors and Planes models. |

Resume of FAB C-130
We resumed work on the Hercules last night. I also worked on the fuselage core, this time adhering to the central section of the wing.
In the photo you can see my suggestion of tabs for the set. I used an approach that I think is different perhaps from what Bruno had originally thought. The wing roots should be glued first and then the central wing assemblies should be glued separately. In my case, I prepared the faces as in the first photo. I started the construction by gluing at the top, gluing it and then "enveloping" the wing lintel with the lower faces, I prepared the wing roots and the bottom piece that makes up the box, which I will modify to fit according to this new sequence. Tonight more updates |

Always good to see people trying different construction approaches. Some work, some don't but always always worth trying.
Loving the Br.14!

I am looking forward to seeing the Hercules done. I don't think I will be building it. It looks too big for the box I throw my completed models in.

Speaking of different approaches, I modified the middle wing box in inkscape by attaching the the parts to each other. Not sure it was a wise idea. Time will tell.
