I think you will need an extra room also. the bird is gonna be big. Scale up the front end, and do a section. Just a thought,

That is looking great! Glad you're doing a build thread and taking pics of the detail you put into the cockpit. So much of it gets hidden when its all closed up that the in-progress pics are really the only true testament to the effort put into it.

You know, Peter, once you correct the outline of the nose section (it's seriously wrong), that would be a killer idea...just like that giant scale DC-3 wall hanger which, by the way, Ruben Andres is restoring digitally! Imagine the business end of a BUFF, with a lit interior, coming out of your wall. Wow!

OK, hurry up and finish your beastie. I'm waiting for the 1/16 scale wall hanger. I know you have nothing else better to do, buddy!

There is NOTHING right about this model what-so-ever CD, i am really struggling to keep forward momentum with her. I know that there are MANY shapes and contours out of whack with the real deal. I have been sent some files with formers to try and correct the obvious problems, but if i was to try and fix every little bit of this model, it would really drive me nuts. I am a BUFF fanatic, but enough is enough. I have even thought of changing the design to a "G" with all the added parts on the nose underside - many ideas, but life and "time" isn't on my side. You can well imagine that i would certainly like a large scale "front section" on the wall

I know to some the P-word is a no-no, but sometime in the last 15 or so years a scratchbuilt 1/32 scale B-52D was a featured article in Fine Scale Modeler magazine. A similar monster to this one. Go Pete!
