DN V-108 - My First Completed Build

Hi all,

I just completed my first ship ever. Digital Navy’s free download of the V-108. I downloaded the 1/200 model from the Digital Navy, but I resized it to 1/150. My previous build thread was the (now abandoned) Brockley Combe here:
Brockley Combe - Scratch Built

A lot of people here at Paper Modelers helped me directly with advice. But I would like to thank two of them whose threads I checked out constantly when I had questions on how to assemble the model:

LeBaron’s V 108 here:
V 108 (Digital Navy) 1/200

and B-Manic’s V-108 here
DN V-108 Torpedo Boat

Thank you all and Have Fun!

Great job! It looks sinister against the red background.

Congratulations.
This is a good project to scale up. I like the red backround too.

Excellent build Glendwr, especially for a first one. That cat looks almost real, too!

This is truly excellent work. 1/150 (roughly in between N and British N Scale) is a very good one for ships of this size.

Your detail work is meticulous, the presentation is superb, and you have captured the look of this feisty small combatant.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Don

Another nice build of this classic free download from Digital Navy. I think it's a good jump into the world of papermodeling ...

With lovely greetings

Nicely done Jon. It must have been very challenging at that scale. Thanks for sharing.
