Military Model Archerfish reduced test build

PHOTOS 1 and 2

The kit parts pages were photographed using a hand held camera therefore
resulting printed parts were expected to have fit problems. I just wanted to
do a test build from parts reduced and printed on letter size card stock.

PHOTO 3

Reduced parts laminated on Frosted Flakes cereal box top cardboard placed over
original parts page.

PHOTO 4

Bulkheads attached; cereal box top images are visible.

PHOTO 5
Adding panels yes fit problems did require extra effort.

PHOTOS 6 , 7 and 8
Used .010 lead wire to create railings. I cannot use cyanoacrylate and relied on Alien’s Tacky glue to secure each folded over short wire but am unhappy with the resulting tiny glue globs.

Close up snap shot red arrow shows a railing support that needs to be squeezed together.

PHOTO 9
Finished small model on full size kit page.

PHOTO 10
Oh well, the final is not too shabby. Mainly the process taught me how to correct a few misunderstandings.

Looks good, Bob. The sail and railings look a lot better than the version you posted in my Breguet 14 thread.

Those WWII fleet submarines had a lot of character, Good-looking boats.
