ok, so I've discovered this stuff called polymold. it looks like little white hard plastic beads, but when you pour very hot water over it the get really soft clear and sticky, to the consistency of silly putty. when it cools, it goes back to the hard white plastic. this stuff worked out great on my led wires and to make a harness to attach to the circus stage.

Coming together nicely!
That PolyMold is interesting stuff, looks very useful. Silly Putty - now there is something I haven't thought about in a long while. |

The base looks great!
Haha! Silly Putty, great example of marketing genius. Someone observed the interesting properties of this material, and saw commercial potential as ... a plaything! Very well marketed, especially the memorable plastic egg packaging. |

What ever happened to the Englishman who was selling a whole line of Brit carnival (fun fair) rides? I bought the whole set but lost them in the fire. There were some great MGR horses, but you had to mirror them for an American jenny.

I had trouble with the gear as well. The verticle shaft wants to wobble from left to right. There are 2 tiny pieces in the pattern I cannot figure out where they go and I suspect they are the stabalizer for the gear mechanism. Yours looks great. |
