Hello!

Hi,
Luca here from Northern California! I never realized there was such a large online community centered around paper model making! Glad I stumbled across this site. In truth, I discovered it thanks to YouTube analytics on one of my videos, as someone had posted part of a project I've been working on. Anyway, I have been astounded already by the sheer amount of talent on display here Really, really impressive stuff.

As for my project, it's a 1:60 Boeing 777 made from manila folders. Designing and building it from scratch, and *really* hoping to get it done this year (it's been in the works since 2008).

I think I've come to the right place though!!

Welcome.

I was going to invite you to the site, but other work distracted me from that.

those of us who have seen your work have been blown away by the accuracy and detail you have put into the parts.

I hope you can share some of your techniques and thoughts on how you did the landing gear or thrust reversers

Rick

Thanks for the welcome! I feel like a bit of a creep finding these threads about my project, but I figure I should be an active participant rather than just a (creepy) bystander.

I'd be happy to try to explain my process, but it doesn't even make much sense to me, so I'm not sure how easily it will come across! I'll post an explanation of sorts in the thread about the landing gear, I figure I should make my presence known
